This is our record of the short life of our son, Samuel, and the days following. Samuel was born on August 1, 2009 with several heart defects and very sick lungs. He died on August 31, 2009. August was a holy month for us,and we are so grateful for the days we had with our third son. We are convinced that our God, who carried us through each moment, is GOOD and TRUSTWORTHY. We are learning to praise Him in new ways and depend on Him more fully as we grieve Samuel.
You certainly picked out the right name for Samuel. He looks so beautiful today. Love the photo of him holding Kathryn's finger. Thanks for sharing. Give Samuel a kiss from me. Love you.
Kathryn and Brian, We continue to check-in and pray daily. I've been showing Paul the pictures of Samuel, so he too can think of him. Your faith is tremendous and a gift from God. We all love Samuel so much already because of the great love you have shared with us. love, The Frilingos family
Sweet Samuel - You are so very handsome. I'm sure your open eyes and grip on mommy's finger made her day. I love you so much. I am so thankful for the perfect way you are made and the amazing ways we see God glorified in your life. You are in perfect hands and we rejoice in your safe keeping.
Your beautiful baby has beautiful eyes! I'm praying for all of you as you go through all of these experiences. I pray for your strength and courage--all of you!
This picture reminds me of Caleb! He is a handsome little fella. Thanks for the picture. I LOVE the one where he is holding your hand. I bet that was a sweet time for Mama. Kiley
