A Few More Details for Tomorrow

Just wanted to give a few more details regarding tomorrow. The memorial service is at 10am at North Point Community Church, which is at 4350 North Point Parkway in Alpharetta, GA (30022). It will be held in the Theater. You will want to park on the left side of the building and enter under the portico on that side. All are welcome to join us in celebrating the life and mourning the death of Samuel Erik Apinis.

Following the memorial service there will be a brief graveside service for family and close friends at Sawnee View Memorial Gardens at 1390 Dahlonega Hwy in Cumming, GA 30040.

  1. Bryan,

I do not know where to start to express our grief for you and your family. You and your wife are some of the strongest, kidest, and selfless people I have ever had the priviledge of knowing. I pray for you, your wife, and those beautiful gifts of children you have. Please let me know what I can do, watch the kids, cook, clean, anything.

  2. A POEM FOR BRYAN AND KATHRYN
They were not for nothing - the crippling pain and burning tears,
The fleeting hope-producing moments often crowded out by fears.
They were intricately attached to the crown you’ll one day wear
That identifies the journey that you and Christ now share.
By recognizing doubt, faith begins to grow.
And when stumbled on in darkness, Grace takes on a glow.
If you cling to it steadfastly it will lead you to the dawn.
But treasure nighttime secrets when the darkness has passed on.

  3. Dear Kathyrn, Bryan, Caleb and Joel,
We are so sorry for the loss of your sweet Samuel. We have been glued to this blog and we have really appreciated both of you sharing your thoughts and feelings with all of us. We can not begin to imagine what it feels like to go through what you have gone through and what you will be going through as you grieve. We think it's wonderful that you have this blog as a tribute to Samuel's life and to remind you of not only your love and devotion to him, but all of the many, many people that have followed along and shared their love for you and Samuel. We will be thinking of all of you tomorrow as you hold the memorial and you will be in our prayers. And Pat, we will pray for you to get through the loss of your sweet grandson, as well. You have taken such extra-special care of Caleb and Joel, what a blessing for them to have had your love and care during this time. We love you all, so much, Love, Lisa, Chris and Bennett
